i learn this the hard way. the difficulty in mixing trance is that you have to keep the energy up in between tracks; that is during the transition. there’s definitely no ONE way of doing it. EQ-ing while keeping the volume up works for me. my 2 cents worth. i got a lottttttt to learn man.
Judging from Trancefuck, you seem pretty modest on how good you really are. Trust me. I loved it.
Oh, and thanks. Am trying it out.. bringing in the highs in first, then slowly the lows and mids….this of course depends. but I’ve got a looooottttt*100 more to learn. Heck its been pratically weeks since i started.
fuck me!!! this guy is a star!! after being involved in dj’ing and promoting for 15 years i lost the passion for all dance music. i found this site by accident and downloaded this mix by chance. absolutely superb. restored my faith in in all things with beats. went from being 36 and cynical to the way i felt in ‘91. hell yeah!!!
