UNITED SOUL / GROOVE INSTITUTE are DJ members ANAND, YOGI & MARK, an organization that has been promoting and supporting soulful dance music since 1998. From their travels over the past 15+ years, they have accumulated and acquired an understanding of music that they wish to share with everyone. As United Soul, they have organized well over 200 events and recently celebrated 10 yrs of Solid Garage.

The set that we’ve been graced with here at the Foundation is DJ Yogi’s celebration of silky smooth Soulful House grooves of the 90s and is vol. 1 of the Solid Garage 10th year Anniversary mix set. Yogi’s selected some of the best such as Mood II Swing, Yazz, The Joyful Sounds of Soul feat. Donnie Mark, Sabrina Johnston and Johnny Fiasco! Yogi definitely represents the Solid Garage and the Groove Institute sound with respect, taking us from the soulful to the tribal, primal, lustful, and back again… Canada knows what’s up, so whatcha know?
