Why File Sharing Sites Like Rapidshare, Deposit Files, etc… suck.
Computer Says No.
This is why.
If you are sending your files like this to A&R people and if they see a message like this, especially if you’re sending them multipart files (which you shouldn’t in the first place) – they’re gonna go …
*CLICK* close window. Because if you’re not Luciano Pavarotti (who is dead), then they’ve got a BILLION and one other things to do.
Make it as mindless as possible for the person receiving your music to hear it.
Cheers to this one. I cannot STAND these cheesy P.O.S. rabidshare type sites. Waste of time. Oh and might I say, Nice rebuild here. Makes me SMILE!

The file sharing sites are free though, what do you expect? I pay $2 a month for 25GB with myotherdrive.com
Yeah and they come at a price to your audience is what JK is trying to say. Or worse yet, your perspective promoter/label mogul who’s going to be more inclined to NOT waste his/her time waiting for your free web host to ALLOW them to DL your mix. Where as someone who goes out of their way to obtain space elsewhere (check my other post in the file wipe heading) to make dl-ing easy, might get hired before you and your cheap lazy ass is all that’s being said. And your 25gb for $2 a month is a great example of going out of your way.
